Sharapat Wins First Place at City Traditional Music Competition
The Sharapat group won First Place at the 4th city competition of traditional song performers titled “Kumis Komei, Zhez Tandai”, organized by the Almaty City Administration and the “Maira” Production Center. Competing in the pop-traditional vocal performance category, Sharapat impressed the jury with its high artistic level, strong stage presence, and successful fusion of national musical heritage with modern interpretation. By unanimous decision of the jury, the group was awarded the top prize and received an official diploma. This achievement highlights Sharapat’s ongoing contribution to the promotion and development of Kazakhstan’s traditional and contemporary music scene.
